Why should I join the 506 Artisan Market?

The 506 Artisan Market is a brick and mortar retail store AND an online marketplace. This unique artisan format appeals to customers of all demographics including the touchy-feely shopper.

Where are you located?

The 506 Artisan Market is located in Fredericton, New Brunswick in a high-traffic area that is accessible by car, bus or foot.

We are open Monday to Saturday, from 10-6pm.

How much does a membership cost?

Our memberships are cost efficient and cost less than $10 per day!

For only $240 per month plus tax, your brand is featured in our retail store AND our online marketplace in addition to receiving all of our membership perks.

It's a great investment in your brand without a lot of extra work from you. You supply your products and we take care of the rest. How easy is that?

Do you offer more than one type of membership?

We only offer one type of membership that is LOADED with perks.

Our memberships include a lot of perks and it wouldn't be fair to charge different rates if everyone is benefitting from all the extras we provide with our unique memberships.

Are there any hidden fees?

Absolutely not. We only offer good surprises. The monthly membership fee is your only cost.

We do not charge administration, commission, consignment or any other sneaky fees. That's not our style.

How can I set up my space?

At the 506 Artisan Market, we believe that you should have a say to how your products are displayed and showcased. After all, it's your brand, so we let you CHOOSE how to display your products. Why limit creativity to your craft?

Don't want to set up your display? No, problem. We will handle it for you. This makes life easier for our out-of-town vendors. 

Do I need to bring my own shelving and displays?

Absolutely not! You do not need to purchase or set up a dedicated display shelf. We provide everything you need. All you need to set up are your products and you are ready to go. How easy is that?

How will the 506 Artisan Market ensure the integrity and security of my products?

Our retail store is climate controlled all year round to ensure your products are not compromised by the fluctuating temperatures of the sometimes crazy Canadian climate.

We also carry extensive business liability insurance and secure the premises with an active alarm monitoring system. Don't worry, your products are safe with us.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to apply. 

I applied to become a vendor. Now what?

We carefully review each application to ensure that your products are suitable for our store. We limit how many vendors are offering similar products at one time.

We don't believe in ignoring anyone and promise not to ghost you. You will receive a response to your application within 14 days whether you are approved or not. 

I was accepted to become a vendor. Now what?

All approved vendors will receive a detailed welcome package which will explain our membership perks in more detail.

Membership dues must be paid in full within 7 days of acceptance and before your scheduled move in date. 

Do I need to tag each individual item I sell?

The 506 Artisan Market will code and attach a price tag to all of your items. You are not required to label your inventory with store specific codes or prices.

Simply provide us with your price list and consider it done! This allows you to have more time to create or put your feet up - your choice.

Ensuring that product item codes are consistent makes the checkout process for our customers easy. UPCs also keeps our monthly sales and inventory reporting accurate and up to date.

Who manages the product pricing?

Vendors are in complete control of the prices for their products.

The 506 Artisan Market will not offer discounts or promotions on your products without your written consent.

As an added bonus, any promotions that you decide to offer your customers, will be advertised on our website, social media accounts and affiliate member sites at no additional charge
